A path that crosses one of the countryside areas of Taormina with tall eucalyptus trees.

The route starts from Piazza Franz Pagano to go up in the area called Zappulla. From there you go down through a small Eucalyptus wood to the valley from where you start to climb.

Along the climb, after a hundred meters, you come to a panoramic curve that overlooks a rocky ridge.

Going on you continue to climb and the point of view becomes more and more interesting because it allows you to frame Taormina from a privileged perspective.

After a few kilometers you will reach the SP10 and continuing to the right at the crossroads after 1km you will reach Castelmola in Piazza S. Antonio.

From there you go down to take the Salita dei Saraceni, an ancient path used to connect Taormina to Castelmola. The area in question is called the fig floor.

Along the descent you will find the church of San Biagio, the oldest in Castelmola, and the arch of the Saracens.

Once on the road, continue to Taormina along the ring road up to the arch of the Capuchins. You enter and continue to the starting point.
