The route is located inside the Nebrodi and winds through a wood. The starting point may vary as from the SS116 it is possible to enter for a while by car. We are about 1200 meters above sea level and the climate is alpine. The path is clearly visible and is in clay. Along it we will reach the highest point of 1320 meters and then descend into the valley. Here, inside the wood, we will find the ruins of a mill of which some walls remain. Continuing along the path following the signs we will reach the Ruins of the Convent of San Giacomo.
